For several months, I have been delving into the realm of network marketing and advertising. (Don’t worry, I won’t stop writing. In fact, I’ll be writing even more because of my new internet venture.) In this short period of time, I have learned a lot and I’d like to start sharing my experiences with you. It’s show and tell time for programs and companies involved in advertising and network marketing. I’m starting with the ultimate of all tools for the avid marketer – the list building sites and programs. Currently, I am experimenting with quite a few. Some sites are classed by the “big whigs” in network marketing as “top of the line” and others are “hot off the circuits” (instead of presses, ha ha).

Let’s begin the exploration with the three L’s…List Insomnia, List Volta and Lucky List Builder.

If you are a network marketer, then you know how important advertising is to your business. Just exactly how do you build a list, you might be wondering? That is a loaded question that presents a long list of possibilities and techniques. I’m learning how to build a list and how to maximize my advertising techniques. The Curtain is Rising for a Prime Performance

The lights in the theater are set to dim as the silence fills the air with a crisp crackle of static electricity. The silence amplifies as the lights begin to magnify the stage until the illumination reaches direct center. As the curtain slowly raises the lights shine brighter with each passing moment. Anticipation causes the audience to break the silence with thunderous applause. The Star steps onto the stage and takes a bow. One person after another stands as the roaring applause drowns out everything else. It’s a total standing ovation!

The thunder subsides and the audience is seated again. The microphone screeches when the speaker greets the crowd. Every word comes out in deliberate resonate clarity as these words are uttered:

Advertising Programs that you Control

Lately, I’ve been experimenting with advertising techniques. Now I want to share my findings with you on the ones which have given results or feedback. You might be wondering why a review site would talk about advertising. That’s simple. Elite Blog Reviews writes post reviews about anything and everything. Since we are a presence on the internet, our advertising for this company starts there. We have to generate business just like every other site on the internet.

It’s all about the Numbers

That just happens to be one of my favorite TV shows, next to NCIS that is! As a fan, I will use the analogies applied mathematically on the show to blogging or building a website. It is all about the numbers! Everything you do online to get noticed boils down to applied mathematics. So get those books out and go back to school!

More about Numbers…

I’m not saying that you need to understand probabilities and theories written in complicated algebraic equations. Not at all! What I am saying is that you can apply math to solve problems on your blog or website. Start using the tools and analytics available for free such as the tools offered by Google. Download those web/blog stats – which is a bunch of numbers and graphs that are pretty technical- the smart software will decipher it all for you in easy to understand charts and graphs. All you need to do is read the information, follow the tutorial, and apply the changes to get results.

Do the Numbers. Do the Math.

If you have too few keywords or meta tags or fewer categories than you need to get exposure for certain pre-selected keywords…..

Then, the search engines will have a harder time finding your site. Your blog or website will end up on the bottom of page 36 with thousands of sites ranking higher than you. What are the odds that a viewer will take the time to click to page 36 of the search engine to find what you have to offer?

Practically null. Nada. Zip. None.

Political Figures Join the Social Network Evolution

This is a changing world that we live in. That’s a statement my father often made and an occurrence that both he and my grandfather viewed with apprehension. In my grandfather’s early years, news was carried through word of mouth. One neighbor shared all the latest with the family or the farmers gathered at the county grainery to discuss the latest farming techniques. Families socialized at church and at home around the fireplace or the dinner table.

Today, socialization has evolved into an impersonal fast paced technical exchange of digital imagery sent out on invisible radio waves or satellite images. The human hand is involved to a limited degree in operating the keyboard or pressing a few buttons to make the computer work or turn on the satellite TV.

At the helm of this digitized social networking revolution stand government leaders from around the world. Have you ever wondered what George Washington would have thought of a President delivering a speech to the nation by way of video on a computer monitor?

Abraham Lincoln loved professional theatre. Imagine old Abe tweeting on Twitter or renting a Video from one of those machines at the grocery store? Its an awkward vision. Yet here we stand at the gateway to the fastest evolving technological revolution in all of mankind’s collective memory.

It’s a daunting revelation to see how anti social people have become, all the way into the severance of family core values and quality time. In an attempt to provide socialization many internet companies have developed social sites with intricate softwares that deliver in nano seconds.

For Grandpap, it was a ten mile walk to the nearest post office where he could mail a letter that might arrive three weeks later. His soonest response was approximately six weeks, if the recipient decided to answer the letter in a timely fashion.

Today’s President won an election by blogging the campaign and by utilizing the vast reach of facebook and Twitter.

We live in a space age indeed where our interactions depend upon electronic circuitry and invisible airborn waves. At least connecting on twitter allows the internet generation to get wired with someone on the receiving end in split seconds. So there is communication.

I think I’ll walk to my daughter’s home in the morning to sit down and share some face to face time. I’ll leave the social networking revolution in the hands of my nation’s leaders for a few hours. They seem to have a great handle on it.

Review Diverse People, Places and Things

This concept came to mind as I sit here listening to “Manowar” singing “Kings of Metal”, a song about Warriors of the World and brothers who come together to stand against evil.

I like the song because it is esoterically profound. Terms like “brothers every where, raise your hands into the air” and “like thunder from the sky – sworn to fight and die, we are warriors of the world”, “we are the hammer of the gods”- “I will fight for all that is real.”

Brotherhood. Stand united. That’s the message that I get. Profound message. I like this song because it makes me feel and think. Passion fills my breast because I can feel the commitment these tribal people have to one another. They are sworn to defend each other and if one dies they promise to tell their family how they died. Wow!

I have never reviewed a song before so this opens a new door for me in the world of writing critiques. This is not an actual review because it is too minute to do justice to such a magnificent song. Manowar is a musical group of literary masters.

Now to listen to Kenny Rogers and “The Gambler”. This is one of my life’s theme songs.

“Somewhere in the darkness, the gambler, he broke even. You got to know when to hold ‘em, know when to fold ‘em, know when to walk away, know when to run. You never count your money when you’re sittin’ at the table. They’ll be time enough for countin’ when the dealins done.”

And so I live my motto. It has carried me far. This just goes to show how much music can inspire any one. I didn’t realize how passionate I would feel about reviewing music or musicians. I found another niche that I fancy.

Break your old patterns and step out of your ordinary mold. Be daring. Challenge yourself to exceed in areas that you never dared to step.
